The first two numbers were previously issued as a 7” by Run For Your Life in summer 2007, with a sleevenote which said “Push To Fire was a terrible mistake for all concerned, hope you like it”. 200 copies were pressed, most of which were given away to people buying Shield Your Eyes albums either online or at gigs, no copies of which remain

Before that, these recordings started life being burnt onto free cds which were handed out in late 2004 when the band was still operating

The band did a single 23-date tour between November and December 2004 before splitting up, and included here is a bonus live number from one of two Jersey dates on that tour

Controlled Explosion was recorded at Premises Studios in London on 24th July 2004. Slingshot was recorded at Backline Studios in Guildford on 1st December 2004. Previously unreleased live bonus track Run For Your Life was recorded at a gig played at the Q Bar in St Helier, Jersey, 20th November 2004
